Vacuum heat treatment is a new type of heat treatment technology combining vacuum technology with heat treatment technology. The vacuum environment in which vacuum heat treatment is conducted refers to the atmosphere less than one atmospheric pressure, including low vacuum, medium vacuum, high vacuum and ultrahigh vacuum. Vacuum heat treatment actually belongs to atmosphere control heat treatment. Vacuum furnace is furnished with strict vacuum sealing device. Vacuum heat treatment for metal accessories must be conducted inside airtight vacuum furnace, therefore, obtaining and keeping original leakage rate of furnace and ensuring operating vacuum degree of vacuum furnace are necessary to ensure good vacuum heat treatment quality for accessories. Vacuum heat treatment refers to the whole of heat treatment technology and those partially conducted in vacuum state. Vacuum heat treatment can realize almost all heat treatment technology related to conventional heat treatment, and greatly improve heat treatment quality. Compared to conventional heat treatment, vacuum heat treatment can simultaneously realize non-oxidation, non-decarburization and non-carburization, clear away scraps on workpiece surface, and have functions of degreasing/degassing so as to ensure good effect of smooth and clean surface. |
